Effective Cleaning Dried Print Head with Innovative Cleaning Liquid

Introduction


In our company The World of Ink we have developed a special cleaning fluid, which is the solution to one of the most common problems with printers - dried printing heads. Our cleaning liquid, which contains a combination of glycols and lactates, is specially designed to dissolve dry ink efficiently and safely.

Due to the correct proportion of ingredients, our cleaning fluid is one of the most efficient in the market, and it is also very good because we make it ourselves.

In this video, I will show you how I started cleaning a printer that has been unused for more than two years. Regardless of the printer’s use of non-original cartridges, it was possible to effectively clean the printing heads with our cleaning fluid.

The cleaning process is simple:


we applied the cleaning fluid to the cartridges, so the sponge absorbed the liquid in the cartridges. Then we applied the cleaning fluid directly to the membrane filters of the printing heads and to the capping station – a space where the printing head rests. This ensures that the printing head is surrounded by cleaning fluid from both sides.

After reassemblying the printer and parking the printing head on the capping station, we left the cleaning fluid in operation for a few days to completely dissolve the dried ink.

The conclusion of this process is that after cleaning the printer acted as new. This method not only prolongs the life of printers, but allows customers to revive their old, dried printers at no high cost.
