What This Video Shows

The rust and the old paint on the fence? First I secure the area, set up the laser screens and see what I'm removing.

After a successful test, I run a pulse laser on metal. I remove surface corrosion and coating and suction covers the resulting particles.

Clean metal needs adequate corrosion protection. Laser prepares surface; does not stop future rusting. Now it can be followed by a reconstruction of the coating.

A dramatic display with Andreshtjan. This is not a recording of the service actually provided; the result depends on the material, coating and test.

Check for suitability before starting

In the field, access to passersby should be prevented and the path of the beam and reflection monitored. We should check the dressing before removal. After cleaning, select appropriate corrosion protection; the laser itself does not prevent future rusting.

The application requires training, appropriate laser safety glasses, access control and particulate and smoke extraction. The choice of protection and filters depends on the actual work.
