Why white ink needs constant aggitation ?
White ink used in DTF, DTG, and DTS printing requires constant agitation because it contains heavy pigments like titanium dioxide, which tend to settle due to gravity. Without regular stirring or recirculation, these pigments separate from the liquid, leading to inconsistent prints, clogging of print heads, and poor ink performance. This sedimentation not only affects the ink’s viscosity, surface tension, and pH but also leads to patchy, uneven white prints, which diminish the overall print quality. From a psychological perspective, printers who don’t maintain the proper ink consistency often face frustration when their prints don’t match their expectations. Customers expect bright, opaque white layers to make colors pop, but neglecting agitation results in streaky or faded whites. This can lead to increased maintenance costs, wasted ink, and downtime, all of which negatively impact business operations.By giving your printer the right care, such as consistent agitation and recirculation of white ink, you prevent these issues, ensuring high-quality and vibrant prints every time. Maintaining optimal ink properties not only prolongs the life of your printer but also reduces the likelihood of downtime due to clogging or print head damage?13†source??14†source?.
