PTFE-replace the tube when damaged, worn, deformed or the connection does not remain securely in place. The real shape of the end depends on the role of the pipe in the hotend.

What to check out

• Check the outer and internal diameter, length and hotel requirements. Bowden's tube isn't always the same as the inside stake of the hotel.
• Use a sharp blade and a straight rectangular cut; make the shot only where required by the instructions.
• Check the connector and safety and remove the intended airiness without damage to the hose.
• After assembly, check the unimpeded passage of the filament and the close exertion according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

A Practical Example

If the tube moves off the connector at each passing and retraction, check the wear of the connection and the exterior of the tube, not only the length of the retraction.

Common error

The colour of the hose does not specify the permissible temperature. In the case of a Hot Work PTFE, do not exceed the specific composition limits.
