Question 2

What is the difference between paper and printing foil ?

Accepted Answer

Difference between paper and printing foil Understanding the differences between paper and foil for printing is crucial to ensuring the long duration and quality of your printed material, especially in wet environments. Although printing on paper can be made waterproof, paper itself is not water - resistant. Its fibres absorb moisture, leading to deformation and eventually to the removal of material. Therefore, the use of foil under such conditions is necessary. Films made from materials such as polyethylene (PE), polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polypropylene (PP) are made entirely of plastic and do not absorb water. This ensures that printed matter remains intact even under wet conditions. For printing with inkjet printers, it is important that the foil is coated with UNICOAT, which allows quality and durable printing. Key differences between paper and printing foil Water resistance: Paper can be made waterproof, but it is not completely water-resistant, as its fibres absorb moisture. Because of its composition, the film is completely waterproof. Deformity: The paper swells and deforms in wet conditions, affecting the appearance and functionality of the printed material. The film maintains its shape regardless of the humidity of the environment. Endurance: In challenging conditions such as wet environments, foil provides a longer life of printed matter compared to paper. Use example Imagine that you need labels for bathroom products. If you use paper labels, they will eventually peel off and damage them. The use of foil labels made of materials such as PET will ensure that labels remain in place and maintain their appearance despite exposure to water.

Question 4

What's the difference between DOD and CIA systems?

Accepted Answer

What is the difference between DOD and the CIA system? Are you deciding between DOD and CIJ technologies for your industry or graphic production? Understanding the differences between these two inkjet systems is crucial for making the best decision. Both technologies are based on inkjet systems, but differ significantly in their operating, use and costs. DOD Technology – Drop On Demand DOD stands for drop on demandWhich means the printing head releases the ink only when it gets the order. This technology is most commonly used in the graphic industry because of its accuracy and lower costs. Advantages: It's an extraordinary accuracy in printing. Less ink consumption, as it is used only as much as necessary. Low costs of initial investment and maintenance. Ideal for graphic applications and flexible printing. Nausea: Not suitable for extremely fast applications. Ink-type sensitivity specific to this system. CIJ Technology – Continuous Inkjet CIJ means continuous inkjet, where the printing head is constantly splashing ink, with drops that are not needed returning to the tank. This technology is popular in industry where speed is crucial. Advantages: Extremely fast printing – suitable for conveyor belts. Capability in heavy industrial environments. Use of different types of inks, including those for special surfaces. Nausea: High initial investment and maintenance costs. Increased use of ink due to continuous operation. More demanding technology with higher risk of failure. Which system is right for you? If you are looking for an affordable solution for accurate graphic printing, then DOD technology is the right choice. If you need fast and efficient technology for industrial applications, CIJ is more suitable. Why pay more or choose the wrong solution? Let us help you choose the technology that best suits your needs!

Question 5

What is the difference between the original cartridge and the restored cartridge or toner?

Accepted Answer

It is important for our customers to know the differences between original and renovated cartridges, as these differences affect costs, ecological footprint and print quality.1. Packaging differences:Original cartridges come in attractive packaging, but we believe in practicality and ecological responsibility. Our cartridges are often packed in recycled plastic containers because we want to reduce waste. This means that you may be given the cartridge in the cottage cheese package, but that’s fine – everything can be reused.2. Ink or toner quantity:Mass production of original cartridges often results in fewer cartridges than they should be. This is not happening here – we fill the cartridges to maximum, sometimes even more. We use an advanced vacuum chamber for ink and vibration technology for toner, which ensures the best charge.3. Chips:We rarely change chips unless it's strictly necessary to operate. Most chips only serve to show the colour level, which does not represent a high value for the customer, but greatly increases the price of the product. If you want a chip function, you can add it separately.4. Price:Our cartridges are more than 70% cheaper than the original. This means that you can make substantial savings without sacrificing quality.5. An ecological aspect:All our cartridges are produced locally in Ljubljana, which means a small ecological footprint. Original cartridges are mostly produced in Asia and travel long distances, with negative environmental impacts.Support locally and work globally with our sustainable cartridges!

Question 10

Are you authorized to serve any brand?

Accepted Answer

Are you authorized to serve any brand? No, we're not authorized service, which has both advantages and disadvantages. But why could that be an advantage to you? Advantages of independent service Repair flexibility: As an independent service, we are not limited by manufacturer guidelines, which means we can find the best solution for your device. Lower costs: Authorised service providers often charge higher prices due to the use of only original parts and a strict repair process. Faster execution: Since we are not limited to specific suppliers, we can get parts and repair faster. Adaptation to specific needs: We offer solutions that are tailored to your requirements and are not linked to the standardised manufacturer guidelines. Weaknesses to be considered Guarantee issues: If the device is still in guarantee, repair at an independent service can be considered a breach of the terms of the guarantee. Original parts: Authorised services use only original parts, while we also offer quality alternative solutions. Why choose us? Our team has over 20 years of experience in repairing a variety of devices. This is not only a fast and affordable service, but also a tailored approach. Conclusion If you need quick, flexible and affordable repair, we're the right choice. What is more important to you — strictly following the manufacturer’s guidelines or solutions that are made for you?

Question 11

What we do in the Black Council

Accepted Answer

Everything we do in the Black Council – innovation for printing and automation The World of Ink has been in the company since the year 2004 focusing on innovative solutions in the field of printing and industrial automation. Our wide range of services and products is designed to respond to the specific needs of our customers, focusing on addressing the key challenges they face in their industries. 1. High cost of printing and maintaining printers Companies and individuals often face high printing and printer maintenance costs. Our story began in 2004 with the service of cartridges and toners, which was soon upgraded by servicing printers. In 2010 we first introduced printer processing with installation in Slovenia CISA systemsthat allow cheaper printing without using expensive cartridges. This allowed customers to make significant savings in printing costs. 2. Need for flexible and cost-effective printing of labels Packaging companies often need flexible and cost-effective solutions for printing labels in smaller series. We developed a dedicated label printer from roll to rollwhich works without cartridges and allows almost free printing. This printer is ideal for companies with a large number of different label designs, as it allows printing small series if necessary. 3. Effective labelling of products with flat surfaces The manual affixing of labels on flat surface products can be time-consuming and impractical. That's why we developed automatic labeler, which allows fast and precise affixing of labels to flat surfaces. This solution is particularly useful for companies that want to increase efficiency and consistency in the labelling process. 4. Need for precise and quality metal processing Industries that require accurate and high quality metal processing often face challenges in welding different types of metal. In 2015 we started with metal treatment and welding of all types of metal by laser. Laser welding is ideal for materials such as steel, inox, gold, silver, titanium and aluminium, as it does not cause overheating and allows automatic welding, which ensures the strongest possible welding. 5. Find reliable partners for industrial automation and robotics Companies that want to improve their production efficiency often seek reliable partners for industrial automation and robotics. With our long-standing presence in industry and our own R & D capabilities, we are a reliable partner for companieswho want to optimise their processes and increase productivity. Conclusion V Ink World we are aware of the challenges facing our customers and we offer tailored solutions based on innovation, quality and efficiency. Our history and experience ensure that we can respond to your specific needs and help you achieve your business goals.
