Question 1

What does it mean that paper is waterproof?

Accepted Answer

What does it mean that paper is waterproof? The question of what it means to be waterproof is derived from the natural properties of the paper that when it comes to water, it dissolves and disintegrates. Understanding this concept is crucial for many users, especially those working in humid environments or printing documents that must be durable. One of the common misconceptions is that paper cannot in itself be truly waterproof — it will always degrade in water if it is not treated. Pain Point: Users often expect printed materials to be durable even when they come into contact with water, but they are disappointed when ink is smeared on contact with water. This particularly affects people who work with external materials or products exposed to moisture. Solution: Our photo paper labeled waterproof is designed for this very purpose. While most printers use water inks that are not naturally resistant to water, our paper contains a special aluminum oxide coating. This coating allows the ink to absorb quickly into the paper and no longer release it even if the paper comes into contact with water. This prevents ink from spreading, which means that the press remains persistent and indelible. Example: Imagine printing important photos or documents for external events such as weddings or sports events. If we used ordinary photo paper, the rain would quickly destroy memories or data. With our waterproof paper, this will not happen, as the images and texts will remain intact even in case of precipitation or spillage of liquids. Key words for SEO:water resistant paper, aluminium oxide coating, ink printing, water-resistant ink, printing on water-resistant paper, persistent printing, photo paper, smeared ink, paper durability, waterproof printing, paper coating, outside printing, indelible ink Meta description:Find how waterproof aluminium oxide paper keeps the printing indelible even when it comes to contact with water. Ideal for inkjet printers and anyone who needs durable printed material. Cover: The image should show a satisfied user holding a completely dry photo, although it is raining around it. The color scheme should be bright, with vibrant colors that express success and joy with quality printing. Link to related website:https://www.terraslatepaper.com/

Question 2

What does it mean that paper is self-adhesive?

Accepted Answer

When choosing self-adhesive paper, many customers face such questions as: Will the glue be strong enough? Will the label stay in place longer? Can the label be removed without damaging the surface? An incorrect choice of glue can lead to frustration when labels peel off or leave unwanted remains. Our permanent adhesive photo papers are designed to last, which reduces these concerns.Self-adhesive paper means that the paper has a layer of adhesive material on the back that allows it to be simply glued to the desired surfaces. There are different types of adhesive layers used on self-adhesive papers, including acrylic, solvent-based and aqueous adhesives. Glues vary depending on how hard they attach to the surface and whether they can be easily removed without damage if necessary. If you fear that the label will eventually fall off or that it will no longer work, it is important that you choose the right type of glue. Our photo papers for printing labels use permanent adhesives, which means that the label will be long-lasting and reliable. This prevents possible frustrations from unforeseen removal, which is a common problem in non-valid adhesive solutions.Examples of use:- Permanent glues are ideal for long-term projects, such as labels for document preservation or for marking products in the industrial environment.- Removable adhesives are perfect for labels that you will have to remove later, such as temporary promotional labels without damaging the surface. In this way you will avoid disappointment when the label comes off just when you need it most.

Question 3

What's the RC for photo papers?

Accepted Answer

RC (Resin Coated) papers represent the best choice when it comes to the long duration and quality of reproductions of works and photographs. People often wonder what the RC label on photo papers actually means and why it is important. If you take pictures of important life events such as weddings, anniversaries, or births, you may wonder if these pictures will preserve their beauty and clarity for decades to come. You may be concerned about yellowing the photos, pale ink, or paper becoming fragile over time. These are perfectly legitimate fears, because photographs represent priceless memories that you want to preserve for future generations. That's where the RC paper comes in.RC stands for Resin Coated, which means that paper is coated with a special resin layer that prevents ink from coming into contact with the paper itself. This provides an incredibly long life without yellowing or other signs of aging, which is typical of standard paper. This is why RC papers, as used by ILFORD in their top products, are extremely popular for reproductions of artworks and top photos. With RC paper you get carefree because your product is made to last. No problems, no fear of destruction – your most precious memories will remain intact. So when you are looking for perfection for photographs of important moments of life, such as weddings, anniversaries and birthdays, choose RC photo papers to ensure that these moments stay with you forever.

Question 4

How does the material become self-adhesive?

Accepted Answer

How does the material become self-adhesive? If you have ever wondered how materials become self-adhesive, the answer is in a special process where the basic material, such as paper, is produced in large, long rolls called ‘jambo rolls’. These rolls are then coated with a layer of adhesive that allows for self-adhesive. Types of adhesives for self-adhesive materials: Acrylic glues: Resistant to environmental impacts and providing fast grip. Rubber adhesives: Often used for adhesive tape due to strong initial grip. Polyurethane adhesives: Permanent glues that stick to most of the bases well. Benefits and disadvantages of different adhesives: Acrylic glues: Resistance UV-rays and ageing, but may require longer time to achieve full strength. Rubber adhesives: They offer strong initial grip, but are less resistant to high temperatures. Polyurethane adhesives: They provide a durable grip and are suitable for different bases, but may be more expensive. Printing use: Often used in printing polyurethane adhesives due to their durability and reliable grip on different surfaces. Conclusion: Understanding different types of adhesives and their characteristics can help you choose the right solution for your needs. What kind of glue would you choose for your project, and why?

Question 5

Why isn't my print waterproof?

Accepted Answer

Have you ever printed a beautiful photograph that splattered at the touch with wet hands? This is a common problem with inkjet printers because most people use water-soluble ink, which means that fingerprints are not waterproof. Why is this happening? Inkjet printers work by pouring small drops of ink on paper. Although this allows high quality printing, these inks are often vulnerable to moisture. When printed documents or photographs get wet, the ink can start to flow or spread, which spoils your efforts and memories. How to prevent lubrication? There is a solution to this problem. Using photo paper with protective coating can significantly improve the water resistance of your prints. These papers have a special coating that absorbs and retains ink, which prevents water from affecting it. So your photos can remain intact even if you hold them with wet hands. Advantages of waterproof prints Domestic use: Keep the memories of your loved ones intact without worrying that the photos will be damaged by moisture. Professional use: Waterproof prints are ideal for use in demanding environments such as workshops, construction sites, field works or on ships where documents are exposed to difficult conditions. Conclusion If you want your prints to remain beautiful and intact, even if you have contact with water, consider using photo paper with a protective coating. This will ensure that your memories last longer, regardless of the circumstances.

Question 6

What is the difference between the original cartridge and the restored cartridge or toner?

Accepted Answer

It is important for our customers to know the differences between original and renovated cartridges, as these differences affect costs, ecological footprint and print quality.1. Packaging differences:Original cartridges come in attractive packaging, but we believe in practicality and ecological responsibility. Our cartridges are often packed in recycled plastic containers because we want to reduce waste. This means that you may be given the cartridge in the cottage cheese package, but that’s fine – everything can be reused.2. Ink or toner quantity:Mass production of original cartridges often results in fewer cartridges than they should be. This is not happening here – we fill the cartridges to maximum, sometimes even more. We use an advanced vacuum chamber for ink and vibration technology for toner, which ensures the best charge.3. Chips:We rarely change chips unless it's strictly necessary to operate. Most chips only serve to show the colour level, which does not represent a high value for the customer, but greatly increases the price of the product. If you want a chip function, you can add it separately.4. Price:Our cartridges are more than 70% cheaper than the original. This means that you can make substantial savings without sacrificing quality.5. An ecological aspect:All our cartridges are produced locally in Ljubljana, which means a small ecological footprint. Original cartridges are mostly produced in Asia and travel long distances, with negative environmental impacts.Support locally and work globally with our sustainable cartridges!
