We find the cause of the leak first. A further screw without data is not a suitable replacement for checking thread, sealing and pipes. Before any dismantling, the connection is safely relieved again.

HACCP: Cleaning and accessibility of the connection

In food production HACCP is considered a requirement for risk management, process planning and documentation. This connection is not automatically HACCP certified. The general professional basis is represented by the European Commission: food hygiene.

Food contact: supporting documents for the whole set

For direct contact with food, we require evidence for a concrete complete assembly, including gaskets and tubing. The INOX itself does not confirm its suitability for such use. The intended food, the duration of contact and the conditions of the process must be taken into account. European Commission clarifies basic framework on the materials in contact with food.

We also check separately when the connection is outside the food route, but air or other content of the connection could reach the product. Such an assessment shall cover the whole system.
