The tube with an external diameter of 10 mm also needs space where it runs out quickly with the machine housing. When we want to run the connection along the wall, the direction of the exit is important when choosing the connection. Therefore, we recommend checking the access to assembly, pipe release and subsequent maintenance in addition to the connecting dimensions.

Pneumatic fast connection 90st male thread 1/8 on tube 10mm INOX is an angle of 90 degrees from the eight connections. Allows a change of direction of connection at the connection point. Its applicability is assessed by the actual arrangement of the equipment and the confirmed compatibility. The price is EUR 3 with VAT.

INOX mount 1/8 and outside tube dimension 10 mm

In this exercise we derive from the following validated data:

• Type of offer: goods.
• Material: stainless steel INOX.
• Format: angular high speed pneumatic connection, angle between axles 90 degrees.
• Screw connection: male thread of nominal size 1/8 inch.
• Pipe connection: for pneumatic hose with an external diameter of 10 mm.

The thumb marking of the tube thread is not its direct diameter in millimetres. Therefore, codes 1/8 should not be converted into a standard ruler check. We need a certified thread standard and counterlink data. In the case of a pipe, check the outer diameter: the tube with an inner diameter of 10 mm is not automatically suitable for this connection.

Angular tube guide connection to the machine wall

Angular execution is considered when the tube has to run alongside the wall of the machine, holder or housing after connection. Since the axles are at an angle of 90 degrees, the change of direction determines the connection. Thus, we can plan the course without immediately bending the pipes from a straight direction in the desired lateral direction if the position of the connecting point so permits.

That doesn't explain how much space a concrete body needs. The body's radius and its mounting dimensions are not confirmed, so we check the suitability at the actual installation site. We take into account nearby valves, edges, lids and path of moving parts. The pipes with an external diameter of 10 mm are not squeezed between the housing and other equipment just to make the wiring look more neat.

Space for release ring and assembly tool

When deployed, leave access to the release ring and sufficient space to extract the pipe. Let us also see if we can get to the threaded work with appropriate tools. The connection, which can only be installed before closing the housing, can later require demanding dismantling. So we plan service access ahead!

At thread 1/8 we check the method of sealing and the possibility of correctly tightening in the desired mounting position. We don't just let the body down to turn the tube exit towards the wall. Rotation is not confirmed; for this product we do not promise to set the direction by rotating the body or acting as a rotating coupling.

Tube load 10 mm and bending radius

The hose shall be operated in such a way that it does not transmit permanent towing, twisting or lateral loads on the coupling. Where necessary, we plan appropriate handles and relief. We do not assign the task of carrying the hose. On the moving part of the machine, separately check the entire movement path, as the hose can operate at rest and become tense while moving.

The minimum permissible bending radius is determined by the manufacturer of the concrete hose. We can't make a reliable conclusion from the outside diameter of 10 mm. Material of pipes and conditions of use are also important. After exiting the angular connection, leave a suitable track; with a sharp additional turn, we do not solve the wrong installation of the connecting point.

In the selection we compare two forms with the same connecting dimensions: male thread 1/8 and tube connector 10 mm outside diameter. The table compares geometry and installation planning. It does not assume the same thread, material or operational characteristics of both products.

Quick connection, damper, threaded knee and rotating coupling

This product is angular fast connection. No level connection and no damper or flow regulator. If we want to set the speed of pneumatic movement, we select the appropriate control element. A 90 degree change in connection direction does not in itself allow for flow adjustment.

We separate it from the knee with two threads by connections: here we have a male thread 1/8 and an external diameter tube connector 10 mm, not two threaded connections. Also, it is not equated with a rotational coupling to rotate the connected parts during operation. Such function for this connection is not confirmed.

Thread 1/8, flow and design of pressure drop

The 10 mm outer diameter tube does not provide a certain flow rate of the entire connection. We take into account its internal diameter and length, the necessary flow of the customer, valves and all connecting elements. The nominal thread size 1/8 alone is not sufficient to calculate the pressure drop. We need technical data on the concrete connection and operating conditions of the system.

When planning, we determine the requirements of the consumer and estimate the losses throughout the journey. We do not attribute a numerical loss to a 90 degree angle and we do not promise the same flow rate as at the execution level without comparable data. In the absence of data, we obtain them before final selection; if necessary, we plan to carry out an appropriate check of the set.

INOX, HACCP and GMP hygiene planning

INOX describes the material, but it is not evidence of hygiene. HACCP means hazard analysis and determination of critical control points in the food process. When designing links, we therefore check the risks of pollution, accessibility for cleaning and control, and traceability of parts and interventions used.

GMP means good manufacturing practice. In addition to the choice of materials, the pharmaceutical environment includes appropriate equipment design, cleaning, maintenance, control and documentation. The arrangement of pipes and couplings takes into account the possibility of cleaning around the connection and the prevention of difficult access points. These are design principles, not certification of the suitability of this product.

In order to come into contact with food or pharmaceutical product, we need appropriate evidence for the whole concrete set, including all seals and tubing. For this connection we do not provide HACCP, GMP or USP certificates, sterility or use with any cleaning agents or media. Also in external cleaning, we check the compatibility of all exposed parts and the conditions of the procedure.

Compatibility check and safe installation

Before assembly, check the threading standard, method of sealing, pipe compatibility and approved operating boundaries. Standard G, R or NPT not confirmed. They are also not certified steel class, construction of seals, permitted pressure, temperature, media, flow, body radius, moment of tightening and certificates. The characteristics of other producers are not data of this product.
